Explore the systems and equipment on the Valhall oil platform and learn about the user story that will guide your hands-on work.
Welcome to Data and User Story!
In this course, you will build on your knowledge of Open Industrial Data (OID). You will dive deeper into the first stage of the gas treatment system on the Valhall oil platform and learn about a user story that will be the basis of the Grafana and Power BI exercises of the Hands-on With Industrial Data learning path.

- Understand the main steps of the process system on an oil platform.
- Get to know the role of the equipment in the first stage of the gas treatment system.
- Be introduced to a user story with Open Industrial Data (OID) that you will use for the hands-on exercises.

This course is independent but it is also a part of the Hands-on With Industrial Data learning path. We recommend that you take all courses from the Hands-on with Industrial Data series and take the final test to receive a certificate of completion.
This course is a mandatory prerequisite to the Hands-on With Grafana and Hands-on With Power BI courses.
