About this course

Welcome to the course on artificial intelligence
Artificial intelligence (AI) ranks amongst the best-known "new" technologies. However, it seems there is a wide gap between the futuristic dystopia portrayed in movies and how this technology is applied in real life. AI offers numerous opportunities for individuals, businesses, and the public sector, and the resource investments in exploring this technology are currently booming. This course is an introduction to the real meaning of artificial intelligence. You will learn concepts such as machine learning and deep learning and be introduced to the potential and challenges in the developments within AI.

We will cover
- introduction to artificial intelligence
- introduction to machine and deep learning
- challenges connected to AI

Who should take this course?
This course was created for anybody interested to learn more about the basic concepts of artificial intelligence.
This course is independent, but also part of the learning path Introduction to enabling technologies. We recommend that you take all 5 courses from the Introduction to enabling technologies series and take the final test to receive a certificate of completion.
