About this course

Welcome to Contextualize!
Contextualization is one of the main steps in Cognite Data Fusion (CDF). This is where we link the data in CDF together get the data from the source systems into CDF and then transform it to match the CDF resource types.

After completing this course, you'll be able to:

  • Contextualize assets and events using Transformations.
  • Contextualize assets and time series using Entity Matcher.
  • Create interactive engineering diagram (contextualize P&IDs).

Who should take this course?
Everyone who's new to CDF and would like to get hands-on experience.

Instructor
Cognite Academy has developed this course.

Sofie Haug
Academy Engineer

Linda Weiman
Solution Architect

Knowledge prerequisites
A general understanding of Cognite Data Fusion, its data model, and the available contextualization tools. We strongly recommend taking all courses in the Cognite Data Fusion Fundamentals learning path. You have to complete the Working with CDF: Integrate course before you start this one.

Technical prerequisites
We suggest using two screens.
